Description

2011 Lea Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir

We combined grapes from the Mormann, Turner, and Rio Vista vineyards to make this fruit-forward, multi-layered wine. All the vineyards are located in the ocean-influenced Sta. Rita Hills appellation, which is ideal for growing Pinot Noir. This wine is lush and round with a refreshing streak of underlying acidity. Look for deep notes of blueberry, blackberry and pepper as well as hints of black cherries and flowers. This wine is very food friendly, pairing with everything from salmon to chicken to beef or pork. Drink this wine now or age it over the next six or seven years.
