Description
2011 Lea Turner Vineyard Pinot Noir
Our block in the sandy, hillside Turner Vineyard is planted entirely to the traditional Burgundian clone, Pommard. Turner is located in the ocen-influenced Sta. Rita Hills appellation, an ideal location for growing Pinot Noir. This year’s Turner is a refined, full-bodied wine that shows excellent richness and purity. This wine is brimming with mouthwatering notes of blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry jam as well as dusty notes of earth and sage. The long, complex finish offers hints of pepper and flowers. This wine is well structured and beautifully balanced. It should age nicely over the next ten years.
