2012 Colson Canyon Vineyard Grenache

The 2012 growing season gave us very little rainfall (about 40% less than average) and higher than average temperatures that translated to fewer clusters on the vine and intense, extracted fruit. This wine is brimming with notes of cherries, plums and blackberries balanced by the signature earthiness and minerality of a Grenache from the Southern Rhone. Look for classic notes of licorice, spice and pepper that layer nicely in this elegant, savory wine. Our Grenaches are always a crowd favorite and always sell out very quickly. With only 74 cases available, we’re certain this vintage will be no exception.
