The Mormann vineyard is beautifully situated in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills. With sandy soils and good breezes, this vineyard produces bright, juicy Pinot Noir that is powerful yet refined. This section of Pinot, like our sections in the Turner and Buona Terra Vineyards, is planted to the elegant and renowned Pommard clone. This Pinot Noir delivers up-front flavors of blueberry, blackberry, black cherry balanced by a pleasant earthiness and minerality. Drink this wine now or age it over the next 5 to 7 years.
