2013 Lea Turner Vineyard Pinot Noir

This is the first Pinot Noir ever made under the Lea label and we could not be happier that we got in on the ground floor with this outstanding vineyard. Planted on a gentle slope in very sandy soil, these vines are low-yielding and produce beautifully small clusters with tiny berries that inevitably deliver an intense, extracted wine. Though very fruit-driven, this wine is always elegantly balanced, with bright acidity and a streak of earth, spice and minerals. Drink this Pinot Noir now or age it over the next 7 or 8 years.
