2019 Colson Canyon Rosé of Grenache

This year’s Rosé is bright and fresh with hints of rose petals and strawberries on the nose and palate. It’s round in the mouth, with notes of guava and pink grapefruit. This is the fourth vintage of Rosé sourced from Tensley’s very own Colson Canyon Vineyard. The grapes for this wine were farmed specifically to produce a vineyard-designated Rosé. The juice remained in contact with the skins for two hours, two hours less than last year’s Rosé. This year’s juice was more concentrated, so skin contact was reduced to retain freshness. It was then pressed to neutral oak barrels where it aged for four months. You can enjoy this Rosé right away or age it over the next couple of years.
