Same blend as every vintage, 50% Rodney’s Syrah, 25% Colson Canyon Syrah 25% Colson Canyon Grenache. 2020 BMT is a classic example of what we love about this bottling – nice and round with power, yet pretty and perfumed at the same time. Both Syrahs bring weight, tannin and power but this wine is really about the finesse and beauty of the Grenache. The Grenache delivers a cinnamon, clove note that you do not get in many wines. This is the perfect holiday wine with its juicy sweetness and complex nose; it stands up to all the warm holiday flavors. You might want to wait a few years to open at the holidays, but if not, I get it. It is to good to resist.
