2020 OGT (97-100 points, Jeb Dunnuck)

Named after Oliver 17 years ago when he was just a baby, and now he is a young adult! This wine is all about power and aging, with a finessed sensitive touch – just like the boy! The 50% Colson Canyon Syrah brings middle pallet and fruit. We get power, weight and complexity from 25% of our Tensley Vineyard Syrah. Those two bring the texture and age worthiness, and then comes the Thompson for the finesse and sensitive nuance. We do our best to get across what Oliver is all about, but obviously we would need another 1000 vineyards to make a wine that complex. We recently tasted all vintages of OGT, and I can tell you, this one will age for 20 plus years – no problem.
