Description

Laird is a new vineyard for us. Located on the southern plateau above the Santa Maria Valley. Clone 877 is known for making fruit forward wines, and yep, it delivers here. This wine is super extracted and dark with round soft tannin. Made to drink in the next 5-6 years. I’m not sure how long it will age, but I think we drink this wine young to appreciate the pure California sunny fruit. We are talking blueberry, blackberry, cassis… it has so many fruit nuances I cannot even write them all down. We thought this wine was so fun; we took aside two barrels to bottle vineyard designate. So its not only fun to drink, its very rare!
