The nose is greeted with aromas of dark berries and subtle notes of fresh tarragon and mocha. On the palate, flavors of blackberry, plum and elderberry are followed by hints of hazelnut and vanilla. This full-bodied Cab is bold yet elegant, with velvety structured tannins and a lingering rich, black fruit finish.

This medium-bodied blend of primary Rhone-style varieties offers structured tannins and bright black fruit flavors in the lingering smokey oak finish.
All Blocks is a blend coming from all the blocks on both of our vineyards Tensley and Colson Canyon. Made up of 80% Grenache, 19% Syrah, and 1% Mourvedre, this blend results in silky, feminine, tannins and texture. It is full bodied yet elegant and smooth Jammy red and black berries, ripe figs, new leather, herbes de Provence, and spicy, subtle peppery notes all define the aromatics. This wine can easily transition from being paired with smoky bbq to chocolate cake for dessert and everything in between.
The 2024 BMT this year is made up of 50% Colson Canyon Vineyard Syrah, 25% Colson Canyon Grenache and 25% Watch Hill Vineyard Petite Syrah. While in the past this wine has been 50% Rodney’s Vineyard Syrah, we had to pivot due to the Lake fire early in the growing season which affected this vineyard. Just when we thought this wine couldn't get much better, the new blend blew us away with this killer vintage that wine critics have named sexy and explosive. This wine is named for my niece, Bailey Michelle Tensley, and like Bailey herself, it is elegant yet powerful. The grenache gives this red wine a velvety silky finish and an almost flawless balance. Red, blue, and black fruits, heavenly orange blossom and herbaceous notes, with a peppery finish. You won't regret holding onto this wine for 20+ years or sharing with friends and family now.
The nose is greeted with vanilla and toasty oak notes, followed by yellow apple, stone fruit, pear and citrus aromas. This medium-bodied Chardonnay offers bright fruit flavors and finishes with caramel and sweet oak.
From the famed organically-bio dynamic Martian Vineyard in Los Alamos. Clairette is known for retaining high levels of acidity and fruit. The aromatics burst from the glass with undeniable caramel and banana custard. The mouth is full of wonderful fruit and texture. One of my favorite whites I’ve ever made. This wine is aged in 100% new oak for 4 months, just long enough to give it a velvety texture without overwhelming it.
Nolan Vineyard Red Wine is a blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Petite Sirah from a newer vineyard just down the road from our winery in Los Alamos. These grapes all come from some of the highest and steepest blocks on the ranch. This vineyard is truly special and produces a fruit forward, yet savory red wine with seamless texture and a beautiful complexity. It has lots of darker berry fruits as well aromatics of pepper, violets, and leather.
The OGT is all Syrah coming from 50% Colson Canyon Vineyard, 25% Tensley Estate, and 25% Thompson Vineyard. Named after my son Oliver, this wine is all about power, aging, and of course bringing friends and family together. Colson Canyon gives it an inky hued color and aromas from dark blue and black berries. The power, weight and complexity comes from Tensley Estate. Both Colson Canyon and Tensley bring the texture and age worthiness, while Thompson rounds it out with grace and finesse. Notes of blackberries, roasted meats and spice, make this wine truly
The Santa Barbara County Syrah is as always, a beautiful representation of the diverse vineyards all around the appellation. These grapes are coming from five unique vineyards, in which some are cool and fog-influenced, while others are dry and windy. The resulting wine celebrates all that each microclimate and soils. Ripe summer blackberries, charred native underbrush, violets, with a peppery finish.. It's beautifully balanced, medium to full-bodied, has ripe tannins, and may just be our best vintage yet.
As one of the few wines where we incorporate new oak—and with our longest élevage at 16 months—this Syrah Noir reveals a velvety, polished texture worthy of life’s most special tables. Aromas and flavors of pepper, smoked meat, anise, and eucalyptus unfold into layers of blueberry, wild flowers, and toasted vanilla. The 2024 Syrah Noir carries quiet power, depth, and nuance. It is captivating in its youth, yet built with the structure and balance to reward long-term cellaring. This is a wine you can enjoy now or confidently lay down for up to 30 years to experience its full evolution.
Tensley Estate is so special to us, having been planted with my son, Oliver, in our very own backyard in Los Olivos. This 2 acre vineyard is carefully tended to with great sun exposure and sandy soils. A medium to full-bodied, round, supple, nicely textured Syrah. A hint of spicy pepperiness, red and blue fruits, and smokey bacon fat all grace this complex Syrah. This vineyard just gets better every year, and this may be the best vintage yet.
Thompson was the first vineyard-designated Syrah we produced in 1998. Year after year this site produces this beautifully quintessential Santa Barbara Syrah showing dark fruits and peppery notes. It’s always the lightest in color, but has the most powerful aromatics of wild flowers and native underbrush. It’s a medium to full-bodied Syrah that is remarkably classic, supple, and elegant. With a delightful tannic structure, This has the most delicate and ‘pretty’ characteristics of our Syrah’s. Thompson is an excellent choice for aging and will evolve gracefully over the next 10 -15 years.
Turner is earthy, peppery and brimming with smokey game. Floral aromas and dark fruits bring a unique expressiveness both on the nose. It’s beautifully rounded, polished and elegant on the palate, with a lingering finish. Turner Vineyard is located in the Sta. Rita Hills appellation and is known for being the coolest climate in our Santa Barbara County appellation. The cooler climate gives this Syrah its characteristic bold, peppery notes. Turner gives us this quintessential cool-climate California Syrah, each year without fail.
This Syrah comes from a site planted in the Purisima Hills, which form the northern frame of the Sta. Rita Hills. It was planted in 2020 as part of a conservation easement designed to protect wildlife habitat. It's sustainably farmed with an impressive attention to detail. Tucked away in Cebada Canyon, it's somewhat sheltered from the harshest Pacific winds but nonetheless very influenced by the nearby ocean. This medium- bodied Syrah is brimming with wild berries, leather, and faint hints of rose. This wine would accompany any of your favorite rich, decadent, comfort foods incredibly well.
This medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc opens with tropical notes of guava and lychee rounded out by crisp green pear. Accented by heady aromas of gardenia and hints of fresh lemongrass. Racy acidity and a slight minerality give this wine structure, allowing for a balanced, crisp, and beautifully lingering finish.
This estate grown, vineyard designated, Rosé comes from the tiny three acre parcel of Grenache at Colson Canyon Vineyard, harvesting only from 4 rows specifically farmed for this wine. One of the only single parcel Rosé being made in the US, our goal is to make the most unique, terroir driven Rosé we can. The 2025 vintage was amazing in terms of growing. We were able to pick the fruit super late and allow it that extra hang time to develop these beautiful flavors that makes Colson Canyon so special. The rosé opens with vibrant aromas of wild strawberries, white peach and citrus blossoms. Delicate notes of grapefruit add an alluring lift. Bright acidity and a streak of minerality bring precision and intrigue, creating a rosé with uncommon depth. Lush and light-to-medium in body, it’s versatile enough for the table yet effortlessly enjoyable on its own throughout spring and summer.
